History of Japanese Lanscaping
2016 visit to Koya Mountain!
Koji grew up near Koya Mountain in Japan, where he was exposed to ancient temples, their villages and forests. He was fascinated by the art and culture there. When a young man, he moved to America to further his knowledge in the language. He met a Japanese Master who later became his friend. Koji worked under him for several years and realized fully, how beautiful his home country is. This made him further appreciate his love for Japansese gardening and was inspried to continue this new-found passion of his. He wanted to share and spread the beauty of Japanese landscaping. He later moved to the Greater Kansas City Area in 2001, started his business, Japanese Landscaping, and has been serving the community ever since.
